Ficus Capital has managed the sales process of a number of companies in the food and beverage sector: the two leading mineral water companies in Uruguay (Agua Salus and Agua Nativa) were sold to multinational corporations through highly competitive sales processes led by our senior partners.
We have worked on the equity financing of early stage beverage companies, structured and participated in the presentation of competitive bids to acquire subsidiaries of European breweries, and worked on buy side mandates to acquire exceptional quality wineries. In the food sector we have led sales processes and worked on the acquisition of supermarkets, food retailers, and food production companies.
